Lofty Heights (See what I did there?)

Unlike making a snowman, we have decided to work on our house from the top down.
The loft area is a single room covering the whole footprint of the house and will eventually be a bedroom.
On our first visit, it looked like this:

The planned works are:

• Remove old bat-shit invested fibreglass insulation
• Fit 6 Velux type windows
• Clean oak beams
• Repoint brickwork
• Replace wooden gable end door with a new window
• Board out and plaster
• Clean floor

We aim to have this done by December 2017 and at the time of writing, it looks like this:
